Extra Clothes:
If you haven't done so already, please send in an extra set of weather appropriate clothes labeled with your child's name and an extra mask as well.
Snack:
We will have a daily snack around 1:30 each afternoon. Please send in a healthy snack with your child each day. It is helpful to separate your child's snack and lunch in his/her backpack. Please also be sure to send a water bottle.
Lunch:
Lunch will be at 11:10 each day. Your child may bring lunch from home or get lunch from the cafeteria, there is no charge at this time. You can view the menu on the CPS website.
Ice Cream
The cafeteria will now be offering ice cream for $1.00 on Thursday and Friday each week. Payments may be made via My School Bucks or with cash at the time of purchase.
*Please let me know if your child is getting hot lunch for the first time so we can assist them through the process.
Birthday Celebrations:
Birthdays are very special occasions for children. You are more than welcome to read a book to the class via Google Meet. For children who have a summer birthday, we will celebrate them at the end of the school year. Due to dietary restrictions and allergies, please do not send in any birthday snacks for the class. The school also requests that birthday invitations are not distributed in school unless the entire class is invited.
